Christmas Dinner in Leamington 2026: Pubs With Prices

1. The Star and Garter, Warwick Street

The Star and Garter is a Peach Pubs house on Warwick Street, “just moments from the town centre” in Peach’s words. Peach describes it as “a welcoming place to eat, drink and unwind”, serving brunch through to dinner, with a private dining space.

Its 2026 Christmas flyer sets the Christmas Day menu at three courses for £100: starters include Chapel and Swan smoked salmon with hand-picked crab and a pressed pork and green peppercorn terrine; mains are free-range turkey or roast sirloin of beef, both with pigs in blankets, stuffing and Yorkshire pudding, ChalkStream trout, or a plant-based butternut squash, lentil and chestnut Wellington. From 25 November to 24 December the festive menu is two courses for £32.50 or three for £38.50, and Peach says diners in December get £20 to spend in 2027 (terms apply).

2. The Royal Pug, Regent Street

The Royal Pug on Regent Street calls itself “the dog (and human!) friendly pub”. It does not publish a Christmas Day menu.

Its Christmas page lists the 2026 festive menu from 23 November to 24 December at two courses for £30 or three for £35, with a glass of fizz to start for £7.50. The pub has a function room and private dining for parties.

3. The Fat Pug, Guys Cliffe Road

The Fat Pug opened in 2012, and the pub says it was started because there were “no good pubs in Leamington Spa for dogs and their owners to hang out together”. It sits on Guys Cliffe Road in north Leamington.

Like the Royal Pug, it does not publish a Christmas Day menu; its Christmas page gives the same festive menu from 23 November to 24 December, two courses for £30 or three for £35, with fizz at £7.50 a glass.

4. The Rugby Tavern, Cubbington

The Rugby Tavern is a Greene King pub on Rugby Road in Cubbington, on the north-east edge of Leamington. Its Christmas Day page gives three courses for £60.95, the lowest Christmas Day price on this list.

Starters include a twice-baked Croxton Manor cheddar soufflé and chicken liver and brandy pâté; the main is a hand-carved turkey dinner with stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and pigs in blankets, with meat-free options. There is a separate kids’ Christmas Day menu.

Greene King takes a £10 deposit per person, adult or child; pre-orders opened on 21 October, and full payment is due by 1 December 2026, or at booking after that date.

5. The Rose and Crown, Market Place

The Rose and Crown is Peach Pubs’ house on the corner of Warwick’s Market Place, which Peach calls “a lively spot loved by locals and visitors alike”, with outside seating and 13 rooms upstairs. Its 2026 Christmas flyer has the same Christmas Day menu as the Star and Garter at three courses for £100: smoked salmon and crab, celeriac and apple soup, turkey or sirloin of beef with all the trimmings, trout, or a plant-based Wellington, then Christmas pudding, sherry trifle or chocolate truffle cheesecake.

The festive menu runs from 25 November to 24 December at £32.50 for two courses or £38.50 for three.

6. The Old Fourpenny Shop, Crompton Street

The Old Fourpenny Shop is a pub with rooms on Crompton Street, Warwick. Its Christmas Day menu 2026 is £100 a head, service not included, and starts with a Christmas cocktail.

Starters include venison carpaccio with walnut ketchup and king prawn and crayfish cocktail; mains are roast turkey breast and stuffed thigh with a pig in blanket, dry-aged rib of beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast hake, or a Camembert Wellington, with roast potatoes, sprouts and chestnuts, cauliflower cheese and red cabbage for the table. It finishes with tea or coffee and mince pies.

From 20 November to 24 December the Christmas menu is £34 for two courses or £40 for three.

7. The Saxon Mill, Coventry Road

The Saxon Mill is a Mitchells and Butlers country pub on Coventry Road by Guy’s Cliffe, which describes itself as “a premium pub, bar, and restaurant with its very own courtyard” and pitches itself to walkers. It takes Christmas Day bookings, but the menu and price load in a way we could not read, so ask the pub.

Its booking terms ask a non-refundable £10 deposit a head for Christmas Day, with full payment and pre-orders by 8 December. The festive menu is £40.95, and Boxing Day bookings take a £5 deposit.

8. The Abbey Field, High Street

The Abbey Field is a Chef and Brewer pub on Kenilworth’s High Street, near Abbey Fields park. Its Christmas Day page gives three courses for £80.

Starters include hot smoked salmon and prawn cocktail, a Croxton Manor cheese soufflé and minestrone; the main is hand-carved roast turkey with duck fat and rosemary roast potatoes, a Yorkshire pudding, sausage stuffing and a pig in blanket, or a cheddar and leek tart. There is a young guests’ Christmas Day menu and a menu with no gluten-containing ingredients.

Bookings need a deposit of £10 per adult and £5 per child, with full payment due by 1 December 2026.

9. The Green Man, Warwick Road

The Green Man is an Ember Inns pub on Warwick Road, Kenilworth. Its Christmas page gives Christmas Day at three courses for £71.95, or £35.95 for children, the only children’s Christmas Day price published on this list.

Before Christmas the festive set menu is two courses for £22.99, or £9.99 for children, the lowest festive price here. Boxing Day is three courses for £32.50, or £11.99 for children, and there is a Breakfast with Santa at £12.99 a head.

10. Mallory Court, Bishop’s Tachbrook

Mallory Court is an Eden Hotel Collection country house hotel and spa on Harbury Lane, just south of Leamington, and Christmas lunch is served in its restaurant, The Warwick. Its Christmas Day lunch on Friday 25 December 2026 costs £175 a head for four courses, the highest price here.

The hotel lists a glass of Champagne on arrival, canapés including pigs in blankets, a savoury mince pie, a prawn cocktail with barbecued langoustine, pancetta-wrapped turkey roulade with all the trimmings, then Christmas pudding or a passion fruit and gingerbread baked Alaska. Bookings are by phone only.

A 50% deposit was asked with final payment by 1 November 2026, so bookings made now must be paid in full.
